First, beautiful boat. Very nice.

I know this boat has been for sale for a while. I think the seats are hurting your sale. If you had the originals and could replace them, she would probably sell very quickly.

Good luck. Looks like someone will get a very nice 1969 when she does sell.

Thanks again.

Actually, even though the boat has been "for sale" for a while, I put it up at the very end of last year(October/November), and was only able to "de-winterize" it last week. Wasn't able to show it to the people interested (it's been a terrible winter in NJ!).

The tub has been reworked and the original seats would not go back easily. I find that the split bench seat is a much more comfortable way to cruise around, but I am sure if you are a true enthusiast you might want the original way. The way the upholstery was done, and the fiberglass work to rework the tub, you would never be able to tell unless you knew about these boats.

I'm also open to trades for other boats...looking for something a bit larger to handle the rough Barnegat Bay.

This is a gorgeous boat! Even though the seats aren't original, they look to be so well done, and more "user friendly" for more than one person to ride in the boat, that I think they add to the appeal.

People seem to have had better luck putting together a nice eBay listing, and selling it that way.

At $9,500 this boat is a STEAL!
