hello..
can anyone here tell me what top speed they have achieved with their
donzi 33 crossbow ???
and what hp engines they used
and what prop and drives ?????
appreciate all help and info..
The info will be used for my boat prop set up..

It's Heavy, not Fast. I went from 330 HP to 420HP and gained 2.5 MPH. all with the Bravo 1

and whats the boat weight with bravos and v8 engines ??

60 with 330hp
62.5 with the 420hp
I used some bucherd up 25" props and 22" Hydromotive props. I now have some 23" Hydromotives and will let you know what I get in a few weeks.

I think it's around 8900 Lbs, but I'm going to weigh it in the next few weeks.

thanx for the input...
a 2,5 mph increase adding almost 100 hp per engine in a double montage sounds really bad..you must have expected much more...surely fuel consumption must have increased substantionally as well...what drives did you use ?? and whats your goal ??

Around 60MPH with 496HOs with 23 Mirage props and 2 new Bravo-X drives

so a 496 boat and a 330 boat run the same speed?

Original 454 420s rebuilt to accept wieand 177 blowers, 5lbs boost, 28 degrees total timing, 8.75 comp ratio, 850 proform carbs and trs drives spinning 25p quicksilver props at 5400.....78mph on anyday and a best of 80.5 on a 55 degree day with a slight chop. This boat with the original 454 420s and 23 mirage at 5200rpm would run 68mph anytime on gps. 30-70 is unreal with boost!
