Price started at $30k even, then down to $24,500, now down to $22,500 This is a rare 25 degree V with a step and a pad. One of the best rough water boats under 32', it also has very high freeboard and a spot for a potti. This is not the Offshore model that Warlock offered, it was based on the Warlock raceboat and very few were made. Full beam of 7'8" and 7'1" at the transom. Fast hull with stock 502 power and looks like freshwater
Someone will get a family sleeper and a wave crusher.

That is a cool clip 71. Are you actually friends with the owner? You don't see many Warlock World Class 25's, never mind a great running clip! The boat for sale has the 415hp 502 option so it probably can touch 80mph with the right conditions.

We have boated together a few times. The owner is a local in south Fl transplated from the midwest, he works a lot of hours, and works on boats for a living, whenever I am gonna make a long day of boating I will post an invitation to join and run along, or hop in my boat with me on some of the forums(sorry, I dont get over here much), as my wife doesnt really care for long runs, the video was taken by a passenger from GA visiting south FL. We have run to Elliot key in biscayne bay, and up the coast from Boynton Beach to Peanut island with him. Havent heard from him in a year or so, hope he is doing well, it is a sweet boat. The 32 Skater in the video is also a friend of Mine, on the ride up, we put my passengers on Pauls Skater to show them how we do it down here, boat runs damn near 100MPH, and solid as can be.

Interesting feedback rchevelle71. Nothing like running right alongside a hull to see what it really is capable of. Amazingly, there is now a second Warlock 25 World Class for sale. This one is a mid-cabin, open bow 2001. Here is a picture that really shows you the freeboard this model has.

Good grab Bill. A year and a half ago it was for sale in San Diego. Now it has a New Mexico area code to reach the current owner. I wonder if he is using a picture from a year and a half back. Also interesting that the owner wants $28,000 when it was priced as low as $22,500 last time out. I wonder if it is the same owner who could not sell it for $22,500 back then and now feels things have gotten better to the point he can ask $28,000. Or maybe a new owner who just used it for a year, and now trying to move it at a profit :screwy: Tough to tell from the picture below but the boat has dual hydraulic steering cylinders. I don't think there are any modern era hulls with 25 degree deadrise. If I remember correctly, the Sutphen Rum Runner's had 26 degrees back in the day. Should make for a very interesting ride when you get it up on the pad. Below is a little feedback on the hull..............

Great boat, handles big water better than a 25' should. Catalina trips no problem.

Here is the big brother to the 25 in the 27 foot length. The 25 footer's are a lot tougher to find then the 27's but they are both single step, pad V hulls. The 27 is 24 degrees whereas the 25 footers are 25 degrees of deadrise and have a slightly different pad design. The first year that the 27 was offered was 1998. The 25 did not arrive until 2000 and thus the bottom was modified a little.

I got some information from a reliable source that the current owner of this Warlock World Class 25 paid $18,000 (against an ask of $22.5k) for it a year and a half ago and now is asking $28,000. This boat would be a pretty darn good deal for someone from this site paying $20k especially with the 415hp 502 and dual ram external steering.

There is one spot that is rusted on the bottom like a screw or something is broken.

Trex, could you shoot me the pics of the bottom. I bought that warlock in December and the bottom must have been completely repaired and re gel coated cause there isn't a scratch to be found it's immaculate like new gel coated although I did question the seller about one thing on the bottom he said he had it all redone. Also curious you had it bought $18,000 two sellers ago. I bought it from a guy in glendale , ca . And it's definitely the same boat. This o2 is clean clean, like new . I've owned 4 very clean Warlocks over the past 15 years so I find this very interesting on the bottom condition being battered on that boat. Please send pics would be very appreciated also all other pics of the boat would be really appreciated. Cdphb@socal.rr.com email

As well as some Warlock test data from Hot Boat in 2001. The 377 Scorp Package, which I believe made 340hp pushed the 25 World Class to 66MPH. The 502 with 415hp could tickle 80MPH under perfect conditions I suspect?

Back around the year 2000 when racing in the APBA P-1 class, these Warlocks were hard to beat.

I didn't know that you raced against this hull smidgen too. Here's a picture of the bottom of the Warlock 25 World Class. It has a step and a pad, fast design for 25 degree's of deadrise.

Greg Guimond

smidgen can answer more specifically rchevelle71 because it sounds like he was actually physically there. I'm pretty confident the picture I posted above is a Warlock 25 World Class. Here is an excerpt and another photo on the F1-44 red and white Warlock as well as a second picture of another 25 World Class race boat. These 25 hulls seemingly are 9-10MPH faster then any other 25's power for power. 78MPH with a stock 496HO is hauling the mail in a 25 degree deadrise 25 foot deep V. Below that is another excerpt about the race heritage. Interesting.

After a brief stint in amateur racing in 1988 in the Fountain, Team BRE decided to expand its offshore powerboat racing experience in 2001 with a full-time American Power Boat Association (APBA) Pro series effort. The team purchased a new 25' Warlock World Class hull from the factory rigged the boat for Factory 1 class competition. After extensive
pre-season testing at Mercury Marine's Lake "X" testing facility,Team BRE with Angelo on the Wheel and Tony on the Throttle, made their debut in St. Cloud, Fl with a podium finish. The remainder of the 2001 season was a learning year for the team, as they campaigned the entire pro circuit, earning 4th place in the final championship standings.

NEWS: Press Release

Buffomante Racing Enterprises FI-44
American Power Boat Association (APBA) Offshore Racing

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 10, 2002

Team B.R.E. recorded its first win in the prestigious Great Lakes Silver Cup Series with a flag victory at the Eastlake Grand Prix held on Lake Erie, July 7, 2002.

This win coupled with the teams third place finish at the June 23, 2002 St. Claire River Classic enabled Team B.R.E. to take over the points lead in the highly competitive Factory One class.

Team driver Angelo Buffomante said, "The Eastlake water was perfect conditions for our boat with one to two foot chop and light winds. Tony did a great job working the throttles which allowed us to have a maximum speed of over 83 miles an hour. Team B.R.E.s 25’ WARLOCK averaged 76.1 m.p.h. for the 60 mile event. We hope to continue with this momentum at the next race to be held at Fairport, Ohio on July 21, 2002."

The five race Great Lake Silver Cup Series ends with races at St. Claire, Michigan on August 4, 2002 and the championship race at Grand Haven, Michigan on September 1, 2002.

Tony Buffomante, owner and throttleman, stated "This victory would not have been possible without the support received from Mercury Racing, Victory Offshore, AuditQuest.com, Warlock Power Boats and Hydromotive Props. Our Intimidator Quad IV prop delivered great performance in both the smooth and choppy water conditions. A third place finish at the last race was a thrill, but leading flag to flag at this event with such tough competition from the other boats in our class made the race very exciting. We also want to thank our family and friends who have contributed to the cause."

Further information on TEAM B.R.E.’s activities can be seen on the Great Lakes Silver Cup website, SilverCup.com and on the APBA-Offshore.com site.

Warlock builds phenomenal rough water V-Bottom Boats, along with there well know Cats. Where many other boats sacrifice speed to gain rough water handling the Warlocks maintain impressive top end speeds in the flat as well as the rough. The Factory 1 boats are built utilizing the same techniques, molds, and materials as the pleasure versions, but there are a few differences in the race hulls that allow them to take the extreme race conditions. As mentioned before these differences are performed by most if not all the manufactures that produce Factory Class race boats. Teams have successfully campaigned the 25, 27, and 29 World Class(WC) models in Factory 1, E-Class, and Performance Class racing winning numerous championships over the years. Currently the APBA Silver Cup Series is led by F1-44 Team BRE with a 25 WC. Many great teams have chosen to race Warlocks for their exceptional handling and performance.

This yellow Warlock 25 gets around! In 2011 it started at $30k, then down to $24.5, and finally down to $22,500. Then in 2012 with a new owner, it started at $28k, then down to $25k, and finally down to $23,000 and was sold last month for $23k or less and dragged to Colorado where it has now been re-listed as a flip by the new owner at $30k. Economy must be looking up in the mountains. If my bot is correct this is the only 25 currently for sale nationwide. It has a 502 and may have been purchased by a member from this board.....hmmmm. The only other one out there is in Thailand. I wonder how many hours the 502 has on it now. The current seller even used my bad photo chop pic in his CL ad lol. The 25's are cool because they have 25 degrees of deadrise. It's sport now for me to find Warlock's Ken :nilly::nilly:

Another drop for the 25' Yellow Devil. This is a ton of 80mph boat for the price with a 502MPI and dual ram external steering. First $30k...down to $27k...down to $24k :blub:

Anyone live in Englewood, Colorado? $30k.....$27k.....$24k.....now $21k :blub: Awfully quick series of price drops. Why can't this be a mid-cabin open bow :banghead:

I really like the MCOB layout too. One of these 25s with a single BBC would be an awesome boat where I'm at. Plenty of seating and shade with the mid cabin and enough speed to put a whoopin' on the bass boat guys when Guntersville gets snotty.

The bot is hot. Here's a 1995 Ultimate Warlock 25 Euro Mid Cabin Open Bow. 1995 was an odd year, this build has a 24 degree V with no steps, and no pad unlike the 25 above and below. This year also was the narrow 6'8" beam like the earlier Team Warlocks .............. $19,900

Agreed, I think mid cabin is a brilliant design, especially for lakes/areas without big water.

Agreed. This would not be a good choice as a rough water boat or passengers might be flying out of the bow area.

Intuition tells you that the open bow is a problem in rough water, but from experience I can say that actually is not the case. The bow tends to carry fairly free of impact at cruising speeds (50ish) and the deep 25 degree V is doing much of the work at the lower speeds. I have the same MCOB design on my Ultra 23 and we were surprised by this, the kids would rather be up front. Now if it really gets snotty, the cover goes on the forward open bow and it's down into the mid cabin for some piece of mind while the big rollers break over the bow a bit. I'm surprised to see a handful of 25's out there. That size is much harder to find.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by "carry fairly free of impact" in this context.

Here is a 2001 Warlock 25 World Class closed deck. Very rare to see a closed deck and even more rare for one to be located on the East Coast, never mind Maine.

I can't quite warm up to the gel coat graphics. Very different, even for the Left Coast. These hulls are incredibly efficient. I have seen GPS multiple claims of 74-79 with the 454 Magnum 385hp package.
