For someone who might want a larger hull, this is a Team Warlock 28 World Class. These hulls are a 24 degree V right to the transom and are a low profile boat that can easily be piloted in a seated position. Very cool looking and not many out there with the narrow beam. The ad below might be one of the worst written of all time so who knows if the boat really has 1,000HP but depending, it could make a cool project for someone who runs big water and wants something unique.

Took a closer look at the ad, unclear if this is a 27 or a 29 footer. Team Warlock in 1989 built both a 23 and a 28 foot World Class and when I look at the seating, I'm kinda thinking this is actually a 28 World Class but you would have to get a centerline measurement to be sure if the dealer can actually find a tape measure

And here is a super clean example of a 28. It is actually a Team Warlock 28 World Class Offshore. Single engine, narrow beam, 24 degree sit down V. This thing is amazingly clean. I have the 1987 23 Offshore and they are amazing boats that you never see on the East Coast.

i'd be shocked if it didn't..... Bischoff builds engines that make REAL power... I would confirm the pump gas realm of acceptance though

20k for this rig makes all of our good 22's look like 10k rides at an amusement park

Guys, guys....$750 or $7500, what is several grand amongst friends especially when you have the only one ever built

Now, Team Warlock's are pretty unique, yet unknown, hulls. I spoke to the selling broker and he said the owner is very anal about his stuff. Buizz, he said it runs on pump 91 but if you are going to hammer it put 93 in. I'm glad it is the 28 and not the 26 or it would be in my garage next to "The Mule" and I would have two pieces that I enjoy and are worth less then I paid like all boats!

Btw, the price is actually $18,500! How much is the IMCO worth? Trailer is in great shape too.
:tase:

Greg,
The blue Warlock 28' from Kentucky is coming here to Texas after I made the deal today. I owe you one for pointing it out - I kept looking at it until I convinced myself that it would make an even better cruiser for my wife and myself than the Martini. After I get a chance to check it out, I will post how well I like it. It will have to be a clean, stable, and great running rough water boat before I let go of the Martini though. Thanks again, Bill

Bill, I could not be more happy that you bought that Warlock. It sounded from the broker that it is in truly fine shape and I know that they had just dropped the price a bit to boot so it sounded to me like a fantastic deal based on what Buizilla said about the motor. How do you think it will rank on the 1-10 scale based on the brokers description? Nice to see it end up "in the family"! You will never see another one in your waters that is for sure.

Now, on how it will compare to the Martini 25 that will be a VERY interesting set of posts that I will take a keen interest in. Tom Stolarz built those early Team Warlock's to be narrow beam low gunnel hulls. My 1987 Team Warlock 23 World Class Offshore has a 6'6" beam so it'll be interesting to see what beam the 28 carries. The hulls also have some bow beak that helps sheer a heavy sea but they are a low profile boat for a 24 degree deadrise hull. I think it may be a sit down hull if I'm not mistaken. Please post a bunch of pics when you can. Here is my 23 which actually measures 23'6".

Greg,
I am hoping I can drive it while standing, but after looking at the helm again - it might be marginally high enough - hard to tell. I can't tell if the seats drop out or not. The back seat and sundeck look huge and the cabin is fairly long and wide. I talked quite a bit to Herb who convinced me that I will not be disappointed in the boat's condition. Apparently it is nearly mint so I am guessing 8 or 9. I know I will have to deal with some gauges on the passenger's side which are no longer being used after a blower motor was removed. If the exhausts are about 33" apart, then I figure the beam to be about 8.5' from the picture he sent. I look forward to getting it here soon. I was relieved to find out they winterized it with anitfreeze and he volunteered to fire it for whoever came to pick it up. I was a little disappointed to find out it has single ram external steering instead of dual ram. The prop is a 26P Bravo 1. Yes, I will post more about it after getting it in hand and taking it out. Bill

Hi Skippy,
When I can find the time to finish some work on the Cig, I will be selling it. I finished installing a new floor in it, but I need to do the floor covering, upholstery, and other work on it first. Right now all my time has been spent on the Donzi 23' fishing boat, but I am getting it done soon. Bill

You may be right on the 8.5' beam but I'll guess it is less. These hulls do run fairly flat. The deadrise on the bow is super steep so you normally drop the snout and let it eat. Time to start a new thread in the when you get the rig in. I'm really wondering how it will stack up to the Martini.

Here is a post from an owner of a 26 that shows the model years .........

1. Mine is a 91 26’. The second wave World Class V bottoms came in a 26' and 28'. Not sure when they made the change to a 27' and 29'. My boat doesn't have tabs and with the stock power I had in it I didn't see a need for them. I'm currently putting more power in it so my opinion on the tabs might change.
