Time to get rid of the Crappy Aqua Signal, horn and combination bow light.
It has been nothing but trouble since I got it

Found this Perco light . It's only 1/2 inch tall.

That looks good, if it only had 2 NM visibility. I like to be seen.

I'm installing an Accon popup bow light on the TR.
You do have to remember to pull it up before you leave.
I have seen a power version of it, but it's not in their on line catalog.

Not a bad find Im tired of replacing the bulbs in my old one. I just ordered this one so Ill post some pictures when it comes in

Could You also Post the specs on the cutout hole.

The Aqua Signal made me open the deck hole up bigger. I may need to make an adapter plate.

I have had bad luck with the power version, the power pole light worked for about one month the stopped working, of course they would not warranty it , so I am going to stay clear of anything but manual opening hardware.

Same light I got for my Baby resto. I had the both line chaulks and the lift eye/trim rechromed and the light seemed like the way to go. The actual cutout needed is a 1/4 hole for the wires going down and two small mounting screw holes.

I wonder how much less power they use than the standard bulb. It would be nice if you could anchor for a longer period w/o draining the battery as quickly,

LEDs use a small fraction of power vs incandescent. Thats why I'm going LEDs all the way. Plus you never have to change a bulb again.

LEDs are AWESOME in this regard. If you're only going to spend on one light upgrade, I'd say go with the anchor light. I bought a couple of the LED Perko white all-arounds and they are FAR brighter than the bulbs and you can go forever without worrying about battery.

(That said, I won't have a boat without a dual-battery system.)

You dont need 2 batteries if you have 2 Snickers bars and a paddle!
