Lake Powell Challenge Sept. 17, 2011

This is a good event, for a good cause if anyone can come out. Besides I need some fellow Donzi support. We were all alone up front last year; one little 22 in the middle of a bunch of Fountains. We only went 40-miles last year so this years run at over 80-miles will cover a good portion of the south end of Lake Powell, similar to the run (http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthread.php?t=49570&highlight=powellfest) farmerTX, DonCig and I did in 2007.

Last year we did this in a day trip from Flagstaff to Powell but we'll probably stay over the night before and after this year.

Not much but here are some pictures from someone else of the 2010 Poker Run. A member on OSO claims to have pictures from the helicopter. I'll post if I see some more. We're in the second picture, all the way over on the right side.

All right guys & girls, we need to make a presence at this event. September is an awesome time to be on Powell and this event is for a good cause. I'm in the process of getting more of the 2010 pictures from the event organizer. I'd like to have at least a few Donzis if not more to outnumber the Fountains. Who's coming?
