hyd steering, lots of power, the right prop, possibly a stronger bravo depending on the power and way you will use it & of course some $$ :D

if theirs a BB in it already then a 540 would be no problem..same size on the outside..if theirs a mag motor in it already you can save some money and have the 454 refreshed and add a blower to get close to 600 hp.

If the 540 has a high rise single plane intake it may not fit. They are a few inches higher than the standard dual plane or HP dual plane manifolds.. ;) Jamie

Mine runs in the low 70's gps with a stroked 454 on a trs.

If you build a 540, build it with a short deck motor or you will have to change the holes in the transom.
