These Chris~Craft XK22 classic fiberglass boats are very rare & high-demand boats.
They always bring BIG $$$ ~~~
Old unrestored XK22 s get snapped-up fast here !
There is a classic fiberglass boat restorer here in the USA that usually has at least one or two restored XK 19-22 for sale ~~~
He sells mostly early fiberglass Century & Chris~Craft fiberglass boats.
His restored prices are always very very high.
But~~~~ they look better than new !
He has folks searching the entire USA for these old boats !

This will indeed be a tough boat for you to find !

If you DO find one~~~
Snap-it-up Quickly !

Good Luck to you !

Craigslist ad without pics :screwy:
I almost bought one locally back in the 80s. Wonder where it is now.

I believe Chris~Craft only originally built around 20 of these boats .

The last fully Dealer~ restored XK-22 I saw~~~ sold for $48,000 !
It was formerly owner by Alan Jackson the country music star, who is a musclecar & boat collector; His ownership I'm sure added to it's final high selling price at auction !

Alan had a garge full of cars & a boat-house full of old classic boats ~~~at least he did at one time ?

If I knew that back then I would have bought it.

There is at least one if not two XK-22s here at Lake Texoma that I see every summer. They both look to be in great condition - in fact, I complimented one of the guys a few years ago. My best friend from college used to ride with me in my 1971 Donzi. He ended up with a XK-19 that he had for at least 15 years - finally selling it about 15 years ago. I never much cared for the brown and off-white look that seemed to be common, but that is just me - :boggled:. Bill
