Simple Seat question from newbie.

:confused:1995 18 Classic. Can the bucket seats be slid off the bases to allow more room to work behind the dashboard? If so, how? They seem to slide to a stop in both directions. Is there a trick to this removal? I have these OEM mounts and sliders as shown in Fogducker III's thread.

Slide the seat forward until it stops, reach under and pull the tab up at the center/front of the mount and while holding it up continue to push the seat forward off the slides.....the small raised area on the end of the tab in the picture is what holds the seat from coming off the tracks moving forward......:wink:

Install in opposite order...
