I sold my 18' DONZI to a guy on Lake Winni, N.H. several years ago. Boat is a 1970-orange hull & bottom- white deck - 351 Ford w/ HM valve covers & manifolds - 250 Volvo - all original - white interior. Is he on the board ??? Would like to see improvements he might have done to it. "HIGH LIFE"

Actually, I thought it was funny in a wierd sort of way, and it correlates to work I do on my boats that I sometimes have nightmares about.
It goes like this.....
I launch for the first time and the boat sinks....not because I didn't put the plug in, but because somewhere deep inside the gimbal assembly, I left something out!!!!! By the time I'm aware there's a problem, it's too late!
The dream is the same every time, even though I KNOW all the parts are in the gimbal assembly. On the TR are some tabs built by Hynautic many years ago and everything is rebuilt. But in my dream now, the boat sinks because water comes in around the trim indicator cables, or the through hull hydraulic connections.

Now, back on subject..... I don't know where your old boat is....

there was an orange 18 of this description with a scoop or bubble on the engine hatch FS in Gilford a few years back, had trim tabs and have no idea where it went . . .
