Just had to get the carbon fiber kit for the new car.
What do you think?
BTW, 3M makes a carbon fiber nylon sheet called di-noc which is pretty cool. Has the same texture as carbon fiber, well not the clear coated stuff. I used it on the arm rest buttons to match the rest of the car. I read that BMW uses this stuff on their trim and I believe it. The trim pieces are aluminum and covered or painted.
I bet this would work great on a boat dash. The cost is not bad either. $50 shipped for a 24"x48" piece. Now I'm just looking to cover stuff. :)
