True!! 377 version aswell. Just letting you know that the 383ci was also produced...lower power 377ci Scorpion engines are also found in alot of ski - tow boats.

They made a standard 383 from Merc reman. (6.2 bored 30 over) 320hp

Then they made a Blue scorpion 377 377hp

They also made 5.7 320hp and 6.2 340hp black scorpions

This is the latest at 400hp

The price is 7800. It actually has 4.5 hours on it.

This will not last long. Call me for any questions.

Just curious to what makes this rare? and i am not trying to be a smartass. Is it the CMI up grade? Because that would explain it to me it is a good deal Is there a warranty?

No problem. You see most of these are usually set up for skiboats/inboard with transmission.
They are a special build from Mercury Reman.
Look up what they sell for on the web. I found from 11k to 13k. I sold mine for 7800.00. to me that's a good deal
We sold it with a 6 month warranty.
This is based on my experience.

Ok, now I'm confused. Was there only one year that Merc built a 377HP Scorpion, 2001 sold into 2002? After 2002 it was no longer available? Thanks for any insights. Scott, was your 383 (someone got a nice deal) the next available option from Merc in 2003 :nilly:

Scott,

I am having trouble finding a clutch cone for my 1993 Classic 22. It is set up with an OMC King Cobra. When I shift it takes a while to engage in either forward or reverse. Not ideal when you are docking. Any suggestions?
