Yep...

I went boating today. A little sun burn and a little wind burn.

Planning to go again on Sunday. Marina is closed on Saturday so I won't have access to the boat on that day (New Years Day).

After several very cold (for us) weeks, the temps will be back in the 70's for the next week. We did have 16 days this month where the nighttime temp was below 32 deg. far and away the coldest December on record. And there were actually snow flurries last week way out to the far west of Jacksonville. Not here at our house, though.

My last boating day was earlier in the month on the 11th. But the weekends have been either too busy or too cold since then. I want to boat on Sunday to ring in the new year and start the new boating season. Forecast is for mid-70's and sunshine for the next week.

Price of gas at the marina (Certified Ethanol Free - 89 octane) was $3.48 today. I plan to top off on Sunday. Marina manager says the gas prices on the water will get real ugly soon.

Happy New Year!
