Look into GoPro Hero HD. Operation of the camera could be a little more user friendly, but the videos are amazing. My entire kit ran about $299.00, which includes camera, mounting hardware, and waterproof case. Here's a great example of GoPro video on youtube:

+1 on the GoPro Hero.

I have one and use it for boating and track events.

+2 on the GoPro. There are cheaper cameras, and there are easier to use cameras, but nothing I've seen touches it for quality at the price.

Heck, I've noticed them showing up on TV a lot lately. Watch the background of shows like Mythbusters and you'll see GoPro's mounted to a helmet our outside of a car. Good quality HD video and (at least from their point of view) a disposable price.

Any of you tried the FLIP HD with their tripod mount? I'm thinking this may work with the cleat and some duct tape?

In my videos GoPro is mounted with a suction cup and the mounting system works great! Just for a little added safety, I'll tie something onto the mount... just in case. It's a very solid mount and is adjustable. Haven't had any problems with it getting loose. Seen these mounted on all sorts of things; surf boards, cars, model airplanes... The only problem I've had is a rattling noise from vibration. Haven't experimented with it that much, but I think some foam should fix the problem.

+1 on the GoPro HD. I use a GoPro for dirt biking a lot, haven't done a run on the donzi with it yet. You might also look at the contour cams, they have a really nice image as well.

one of the things that the GoPro has that other cameras do not is wide angle. The limited angle view of normal cameras don't give the same result.

True but its a fixed focal length lens. If you want wire, you're stuck with it. I'm not complaining just sayin'. FYI, I have the super wide one and really like it. If it wasn't wide you get too busy of an image for motocross and you want to puke after watching it for a coup,e minutes.

Great video with a great song. I listened to that song by Grand Funk almost every day in about 1969 to get me pumped up. Bill

Remarkable video. Fine job! It's why I bought a GoPro. All I want now is the 22!

I've posted youtube videos by clicking on the youtube "Share" box. I then highlight the youtube address, copy it onto the tool bar "edit" box and paste it onto the Donzi Registry posting. No problems when I posted your video here. Good luck.

For those GoPro enthusiasts, they just came out with a LCD viewing screen that attaches to the back of the camera. Included in the price is the deeper doors for the waterproof case. New product is called the "LCD BacPac". It now allows you to view what you are shooting and playback immediately. Camera is really cool, but needed a viewing screen.

Ordered mine too. Was a little frustrating to video all day and not know what you had until you downloaded it. Glad I had the Hero 1080, cause the attachment doesn't work on all the models. Can't wait to give er a try.
