This has to be the most butt ugly windshield I have ever frickin' seen on a Donzi.........

I mean, come on, in the 1960's, at least it was the style of the day, but this is a 2001 model..........

It reminds me of an AMC Pacer. I guess it could be taken off pretty easy. That boat is for sale.

some of the Bayliner crowd should not be sold a Donzi . . .

My guess...A chain Smoker who loves boating...* very poor taste

At least a couple of years, maybe three. I wonder why...

Funny thing, when I brought up what an atrocity it was when the boat first came on the market, there were several who still frequent here that defended the "utility" of the modifications.

He who laughs last... Fugly and still for sale.

I have seen some original ones on the 60's Donzi's, but this thing is a monstrosity.

Wonder how much it takes off the top end. Running WOT with a billboard on your deck can't make it faster.......:bonk::lookaroun:

I can see all sorts of arguments about the utility or whatever. Not concerned with that at all.

But from a purely aesthetic perspective, it seems like the Erkel of Donzis.

And I was going to put one on my X.

That is pretty bad looking. I have seen similar on a green 16 once.

"It reminds me of an AMC Pacer."

I might take offense to that there Carl...and what exactly do you have against my current ride ?? I have a velcro attached, dash-board velcro-mounted cd-player in mine with Queen in the queue..thank you very much ! :shocking:

Has it been mentioned already how cold it is outside below the Mason-Dixon line ?? Anyone below that line realizes how we keep "warm" down here ! The windshield on my dumb boat would hold off a Category 2 storm, this thing however, is a small sail, and I am not exactly sure why it is not tinted, nor trimmed with "bling lights" !! :shocking:

I think that was a zip in windshield for his Bimini, not a real windshield.

I think I was one of the ones that commented on the practicality of such a windshield. I think this boat was owned by someone living in the keys. It also had a lot of electronics on board. I would imagine a larger fuel tank would be handy also. Such things are fine for a specific person to fulfill his particular needs.
The problem arises when it's time to sell. Not everyone likes the same things.

It was more like a plastic pilot house. If it's that rough, I ain't going.

It looks somewhat tadpoley to me. Like, it might grow up to be a normal 25 footer eventually.
