Glastrons are made in Panama City, Forida. I lived there twice.

I am disappointed to report that I have run across one of my photographs (not one of my models) that I posted here, in the Political Section (no less) of Another Forum that I visit. I suspect it was posted with tongue in cheek, but nevertheless, I will no longer be posting any of my photos. It would only be a matter of time when I would see my models on someone's Christmas Calendar...for sale in the Mall.

The model that I intended to post has been privately owned for some time, and in the interest of the owners privacy, this case is closed.

Thanks again for all your kind words to date. I am a private person and that was the reason why I have never posted my models here before. I enjoyed the opportunity for people being able to SEE the models...NOT because I need accolades....I Do Not. I only did so, so the members can see what some modelers are doing "Out There" in the model world. John

DonziJon, I'm not trying to start anything...I really am not, I'm just curious. The pic you posted is of a beautiful model boat (and I would like to see more). I'm trying to understand the harm in it showing up elsewhere. If I could build something like that, I would be honored to have it show up on a calendar

Well, I'm disappointed. Kind of a peculiar attitude that I don't quite "get", but that's entirely your choice and YOUR business.

Anyway, thanks for sharing!

More Stuff. Accurate DETAILS make the model. All hardware above the rub rail, scratch built, in the finished model is Nickel Plated brass...as was the original boat.
