Have a 22 Classic. will be pulling tubes and skiers. What's the best method to get back into the boat from the water?

Some have added ladders of different types, but most climb the drive.

Put black non skid tape on the cav plate and drive top, add a handle for a good grab and your done.

you pull the drain plug and wait until the boat gets eye level then jump in,then let the bilge pump pump the water out :kingme:

i get in off the drive....

I used to use an over gunwale ladder but finally gave in to the climbing the drive thing.

To quote the Chef in the movie Apocalypse Now when the Tiger lunged out of the jungle..."Never get out of the F#%&*@ Boat!!!"

use the outdrive with the engine OFF!

A 22C is a poor choice for water sports. My fishboat was much easier to get in. I pulled skiers, wakeboards, and tubes behind it. It had a rear ladder on it.

I put the Dol-phins on my outdrive to keep the feet off the prop
two steps and you're done.

Tubing is easy
just pull the tube up next to the Classic and get in
no water/outdrive to deal with. . .

I do have a rope ladder that I use when in deep water...it is easier than climbing the outdrive...but in shallow water...the outdrive.

Rope Ladder... attaches to a cleat...It will swing under the boat when you step on it, and it is somewhat uncomfortable to bare feet, but it is easier and safer than finding the cavitation plate when in waves and the boat is moving up and down.
