I can't help you out on the pros and cons, but I actually bid on this one unsuccessfully. Looked too sweet not to try. Bill

i have had a 292 for 1 season now and it is great

solid riding boat,
mine is 20 years old and there are no rattles, or loose fittings at all

mine would ride as comfotable if not more so that the 33 we were in in cumberland

lots of headroom downstairs when sitting (relatively) - moreso than a 28zx

got to think the fastec version would be better than mine

you should have come up and run it when we were talking because you would already have one by now

del mar, when that boat was first listed awhile back they said it just had a valve job on both engines and some other work, only 100 or so hours i think. buz.....NO NO NO and h NO! g.h yes my brother i know, i am working on it!

we get ice up here - boat is put away for winter projects

My 01 292 with 6.2's would hit 74 light on fuel,trmmed out,labbed 26 B1 props GPS
My 03 353 with 500 efi's would hit 87 88 light on fuel trimmed out,labbed 29 hydros GPS
the 312 is a very nice boat but discontinued so I went the way I did just for resale.Just me thinking. BTW the 292 is really 27 with molded platform and the 353 really 33 with the molded platform you get the idea. Glass's boat if 20+ is an SR1 which is a true 29 + an xtra 2' for the platform. My guess is 80 on the 312.

Well the deal fell through,,he still has it..Bald knob was not accurate on his new payment,they told him it was going to be a $40.00 more then his current payment,then it ended up being like $400.00 more so he told them no deal..
