Didn't DW's critter have a 6.2 when he bought it?

Be interesting to know what speeds they're getting out of it.

Yep. I never actually ran it, but DonCig did at Tahoe. I think he was in the mid to upper 50's at 7000 ft. At sea level probably 60-62.

Biggest thing he noticed and it suprised him was how weight sensitive it was. I think the 6.2 was so light, the boat had more freeboard and therefore leverage when someone was moving around in the cockpit. I don't notice that characteristic with the 540. Pretty solid.

What a difference a 540 makes. :)
