There is NO way he's getting rid of his Cobra, Ed. I have a hunch he's run across a 'vette that he'd like to pass on info of. (boy, I really bastardized that sentence!)

Can we see photos of your Pantera, Ed? I always loved the looks of them. 351?

No boys, I am not sellng the Cobra. Made some carb adjustments yesterday, ran it to an indicated 110 and then took the bride on a 100+ mile ride in the Berkshires for lunch. No, keeping it a little longer.

I need to get hooked up with some Corvette sites as I have (from my Father in Law), over 100 issues of Corvette News from the 60's and 70's he would like me to pedal, and I am looking fo some of the more popular sites.

Ken; You shouldn't be doing those speeds in a convertible..

That is hardtop(as in Pantera) speed..

Still going to sell the Pantera and have it narrowed down to either
a 05/06 Vette Conv............or a Cobra(like the Unique Cobra)...Ed

corvetteforum.com

Probably the largest forum out there.

Go to OT (off topic) for some of the best humor around!!

I have a 1970 Stingray, 350/350 HP, I bought back in 1984 to tow an 18' Youngblood. It was one great little towing vehicle, and never had any problems getting out of the ramp with the posi-trac, and cornering in the hills was like riding on a rail. The Youngblood is long gone, but the Stingray is still a keeper. What did you want to know?

Met him once. Knew I liked him. Now I get it. I bought my first one in '69.
Rebuilt the engine 2X, new everything & went drag racing. Decided to do the body, 8 months later 12 coats + 4 clear we were concourse baby! Too heavy for the street, too pretty to drive, sold it. Damn, couldn't stay away, searched and found a '65 coupe. Kids started coming. Out it went.

All the while, reading Corvette News. A very pretty mag. But, I'm like
Donnelly....I pretty much don't know anything after about 1973.
