Here's a little project for somebody. George, you up for it?

It's a 95' Sunseaker that hit a reef off Libia and was salvaged. Hit a reef...yeah, must have hit it at about 30 knots! Take a look at the slide-show of the recovery effort - they tore the whole bottom out of the thing!

I wouldn't live long enough....:frown:

It would be interesting to know what it eventually sells for though.
Also, I'm curious if the mfgr molded a new bottom for it, or if it was fudged in place.

Wow! That's some damage!

From the listing:

"A trailer is not included in this sale."

Well, that seals it for me, I ain't buying it. I don't know that my F250 would pull it anyway.

The listing is also signed, "Che Guevara". That's pretty weird, eh?

That's the name of the yacht. I wouldn't buy it for that reason.
Che was a mass murderer.

Well, they did say it was sank while cruising of the Lybian coast...maybe that name plays well around there :shocking:

Still, that's some pretty crazy damage. They must have opened up 50' on the bottom of that thing. I can't begin to imagine what it would take to try to get that bottom straight again.
