P-38 fighter pilot finds out 'ain't no free lunch'

I mentioned this 'lighter side' article about my Dad sometime back. I said that I would post it when I fount it. Well, I finally found while re-doing my office. The other pilot mentioned (Billy, aka Boo) had some real experiences - his P-47 was shot down over Germany and spent the rest of the war in a POW camp.

The article is from sometime in about 1985.
