Could be a real opportunity for someone looking for a V-Drive.

Not much information in the ad.

So is the boat for sale now? I'm confused.

It's the right color, that's for sure

BUY it now is $10K...I'd consider it IF it was original an 427 Side Oiler and Original Drive project...but someone swapped out the 427 for a 454 and different drive...and its still a project...too rich for my blood considering what is out there on the market for the same or less $$$$...I'll keep looking...

Did someone say he got it FREE?

Everone is correct I did get this boat for nothing, but I did put about $2200 and alot of time in the boat and trailer to get it going. Now the wife and kids want a open bow and top, so I have to sell.

It doesn't matter what you paid- it only matters what the new owner will pay. I'm curious about this boat. Was the whole boat painted and was it a off the shelf enamel? And have you had it out and does it run well?

It looks like your FIL was a player in his day. Performance upgrades on the boat, tandem cragers and matching stripe on the trailer. I'm sure he has stories to tell.

The boat does look like it has been painted but not by my FIL, he bought the boat just like it sits now in 1995-1996, ran it until 1999, then started to take it apart in his garage, and tried to find original motor and transmission, but got tired of looking, so it sat covered up until about June of this year. We were looking for a boat, so he said you can have this one and do what you want with it. So I put it back togeather and got it running, been out on the lake about a dozen times or so, runs good starts everytime but I think carburator need to be tuned end engine needs to be timed, there are no timing marks so I have just done it by ear. We would like to fine a boat with open bow and top, and somthing a little quieter and more fuel efficient.

Buy it now for $6,000 makes this a very nice deal.

But that's just my opinion.

for the age of the boat i agree i really thought it would bring a lot more, but what do i know. I feel that this is a real steal, seeing that there is not many v-drives left around. I had 200 watchers and only 14 bids so i lowered it to buy it know $6000.00. I just can't give the boat away.
