I'm looking for a suction cup stern light. Anyone know a good model and where to find?

Thanks, it says they're rated for up to 7 knots! Whoa! what's the hurry Murry? Any chance they'll hang on at faster speeds? Really don't want to cut. Wife may have to do Statue of Liberty impression... Hay-Ohh!

What speed is her rating?:bonk:

Have you no lights at all? You really need a mast light which they don't make in a suction cup model.

Faster than my boat and a lot meaner if not trimmed out correctly. Nurse, you know, the ones that can kill you in your sleep and leave not residue for the authorities to find. Just kidding sweet cheeks, hope your having fun in Vagas... We've been married twenty years this month and were supposed to go to Vagas. She wnet with her friends and I went to Missouri to get a boat! How cool is that!!

I don't have a stern light, only bow lights. Must figure something out. I have a "dent puller" suction cup for the car and they really grab on, might try and rig something. I can't be the only one who has run into this prob.

Do yourself a favor and put in removable mast. Easy to do.

If you don't have a stern light, you need a 360 deg. mast. You can use regular bulbs or LEDs. Mast must be above the highest part of the boat. That is what I would do.

You're not alone. I've run into the same thing, and haven't taken care of the problem yet. No idea how my boat never made it out at night in 40 years during previous ownership. Hmmm...odd.

I plan on putting in a perko system, but I probably won't get it done until next season. Just way too busy right now. I like the suction cup thing, but it seems to be pretty much just for idling.

Good luck. Thanks for the info Bob!
