i have a roller cam lifters and the retainer for on top of the lifters for a gen 6 502 mag, can i use this in a gen 5 454 mag. what else do i need to do

you will have to drill and tap the front of the block for the retainer plate, you will need a gen 6 timing chain and you will need to get a set of retro-fit roller lifters.. the gactory wishbones wont work in a gen 5 block..

also make sure the timing chain dont rub on the front cover before you go through the hassle of drilling and tapping the block..mock up the top timing gear to the cam and slide it in,then put the cover on and check for rubbing..
