Today was the first time out with the boat, small water leak around fitting on shaft going down to prop, had to tightend up. Lake was rough but the boat seemed to cut through very nice, no other problems will go out again when water is smoother.

It actually worked surprisly well, the gears are kinda neat you can put it in low and the boat will do about 4-5 mph with no wake, 2nd 35-40 at 3000 RPM or you can just throw it in drive and go.

The slight water leak at the shaft is very important, you should have (1) drop every 30 seconds to keep the packing cool and lubricated. Also if you have the old graphite packing in there "RIP" it out and get the white packing, the graphite can cause electrolysis and pit the shaft where you will never get it to seal.
