I came across this 1" x 7/16" rail in black, and it takes a 3/4" stainless insert. I think it might be ideal for my project but have no idea how to actually locate it. It should look like all stainless on the boat, perfect for a boat where white rail just won't do with a small flange. Here are some pictures comparing standard rail like you see on a searay which is 1 5/8, then next to it is 1 1/4, then next there is the black 1" rail, all of them take the same easy to get 3/4" stainless insert.
