What happened to no bashing other people's boats for sale? This boat looks clean and the price is fair despite no EFI.

Nice boat, but no EFI? What about those pipes? Can you hear yourself think when that thing is roaring? 60-62, that's it? I have an 18 that's three years older and 8 mph faster than that, EFI and no pipes. Good luck with the sale.
I personally think with these boats, the thru hull is a must have. Looks like a beautiful boat at a fair price.

deanco!!! Thanks for the vote of confidence. The decibel levels are actually low on this roaring 22. I am just trying to sell the boat at a very reasonable price and be done with it. Believe me, I wish I had an EFI, but i don't and that's why it's not listed for 25k-30k.
It's only 15k!!!!

There are rules concerning responses to boats listed in the for sale section. Negative comments about someone's else's boat are unacceptable.

The performance of your boat is irrelevant.

I like a person who is honest in the listing of their boat's performance.

There are many who consider a 22 with a small block a very desirable boat. They perform very nicely (not everyone with a Donzi is looking for 70+ mph), and are very easy on the wallet around the pumps. 60+ mph can be very satisfying, and is a speed at which the 22 handles very nicely.

an 18 without pipes? might as well drive a bass tracker!

Leave the listing alone!

Deanco, do you realize that 99.98% of boats on this forum have pipes?!?

Sweet boat. The SB in the 22 is very desirable among some owners. Good luck with the sale!

why is the SB desirable?

60+ mph performance, V8 sound and very fuel efficient.

60+ mph performance, V8 sound and very fuel efficient.

Also, their attitude is totally different than with a BB due to the decreased weight.

You can also crawl around in the bilge with no problems.

Of course size matters..........as we all know.

Thanks for the support! This really is a great boat and I wouldn't be selling it if I didn't have to. Unfortanetly, I have run into a ****ty situation and need the cash quick. I have received alot of calls on the boat, but no action.

So the best quick cash offer will not be refused.

It would fly with the EFI. not true, that engine only came with a carb that year.. a 260 EFI and a 260 carb will run identical speeds..

I doubt it. Water vapor alone especially salt air affects performance. The EFI is just fuel, no air which is rammed in through a special filter (at least on mine). No way a carb is more efficient than EFI especially a 4 barrel on 8. so, prove me wrong..

Read Buizilla's statement again. 260 hp vs 260 hp = same speed. Fuel efficiency has absolutely nothing to do with it.
And what do you mean, "The EFI is just fuel, no air"????????? No air = no run.

Boat was looked at and driven by two members of the registry, but still for sale. Looking to sell before winter if anyone is interested. Any tips on how to sell this fast would be appreciated.

That's a beautiful 22, I'd love to have it. I get sick of putting gas in my boat, aside from the fact that yours is FASTER than mine too!

Good luck, this boat should be gone by now, it's a bargain!
