So what is being used as a valve between the raw water pump and the leg water intake so a hose via a transom mounted intake can be used to flush your motor out?

I realize it needs to T into the intake hose and be able to shut off the line to the leg intake while flushing but I am not sure what to look for....?

1 1/4 ball valve, 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 x 3/4 hose barb tee
You don't need a 3/4 ball valve as the thru transom has a cap...Ed

what ed said... theirs also another way to do it,,install a one way check valve on the intake side between the transom and the sea pump, this will keep the prime in the pump also..i like installing a ball valve where the hose goes to,this way if the cap looses its seal it wont suck air like your x old lady sucks golf balls through garden hoses

If I just T it in does'nt the hose pressure go out the leg or once the raw water pump turns over it sucks all the water through the motor???

It is the MPFI motor.....so what is entailed with the fuel system "upgrade" and with the ECM tune do I just need a scan tool or lap-top with a program...?

PS. Is my X at least cooking you dinner....

That is how mine is plumbed...works fine and lowers the chance of my forgetting to turn the valve back on.
