I have a stupid question

The circuit breaker push switch next to the ignition switch on my Classic...what is it connected to and or what is it for?

I know the question seems trivial, but I can't get the seats out so its a bitch to look under the dash. Also, I am not small.

On my 96' 16 it gets power from the battery. Goes through the breaker to the ignition switch. Sends 12v to your slave solenoid to start the engine and powers and protects your "ignition on" circuits (purple wire stuff).

I appreciate the reply. I finally got the seats out and the stuff under the dash is making more sense. Now I will know what to try 1st if the thing won't start.
