I have been running a set of Iron Eagles for a few years now, was BSing with Maddad today he said that he thinks I should be running extended tip plugs. So fart all I have run are MR43T's and the NGK equivalent neither of which have extended tips. The MR43T's run a tiny bit better then the NGK's in my engine, both are great plugs. The heads are 72cc with 200 runners 2:02 valves, compression comes out to 9:135. Phil

You got flat top pistons? or a little dish? either way if your quench area is tight enough when the piston finally makes it to tdc and the total cyl volume is compressed into the combustion chamber the quench area pushes it to the plug(so long or short plugs perform about the same). if your quench area is too big and can not force all the compression into the combustion area at tdc the plug length makes a bigger difference.

plug length makes a bigger difference.

No truer words have been spoken.

I mailed Dart their tech got back advising the MR43TS plugs, next season I will give them a try. For now I will live with the ones just installed.

Phil, on the dyno there was no huge gain in hp, but the motor ended up liking 32 degrees of timing with lower egts.
