This is the 18 I have for sale. It belongs to my old Boss. I worked with him for 15 years. He never took it out the whole time I knew him. He was my friend before he was my Boss. I have know that he has not taken it out for 20 years. I think he bought it new. It has been inside for over half of it's life. I tried to go out in it once. I put a new carb, water pump, fuel pump etc. There was dirt in the tank and I could not keep it running. Hence it has sat. He recently moved to South Carolina and he was on his way to his new diggs with the Donzi in tow. The tires were about to come apart and I made him leave it here. I had wheel bearings and 4 new tires installed. I believe it will clean up nice. The cover is in good shape. The seats are good too. It only has 277 original hours on it. It has a Florida title. It is a 1976. 350 Chevy.280HP Volvo outdrive. I am pretty sure the outdrive is good from the looks of the prop.
Call me if you want to talk. 305-992-5388 Bert

BertsBoat...what size ball hitch is on the trailer? Just pitched it to momma...momma has to be happy...momma wants daddy happy, Berts boat would make daddy happy...LOL...BumbleBees boat would too...

To be honest I am looking at Bumblebees 18 as well...$5K and its reasonably clean and runs...and its a 351W FORD...looking for Ford...

Yours has potential I'll give you that but lots of unknowns...like having to pull it apart and replacing the tank from day one... and lots of engine work...

So...I live in Virginia...do I drive to Massachusetts or to Florida...Hmmmm

Glad it went to a good home...after talking it over with the wife I am going to wait until the fall and buy then...too much work to do on our businesses and travel to be nailed down with a project right now...definitely getting a 18 now...sold 100% on the 18 over the 16 now that I've done a little looking...

Blake, careful what you wish for... We all may be going to Alvin for a beer-drinkin deck-lifting party!:nilly:
Eric's excited about this one. He's a bigtime vette collector, but has coveted my Donzi since the 1st time he saw it. This one fits him even better with that vette motor in it...

He picks it up on the 26th...

Nope, the boat is now in beautiful, sunny ALVIN, TEXAS... home of Nolan Ryan and the world's largest mosquitoes!

I can't wait to see it, this must be the best screamin' deal of the year on a Donzi...

Eric done good!

Started buffing the right side today and it's really looking great, cant even see where the old Floida ID numbers were and the red tape stripe is shining up as well, so maybe no need to replace it. Planning on leaving her as original as possible. Hooked up a battery and got the bilge pump, trim plates, hobbs meter all working. Power washed the engine compartment and ordered all new rubrail today. Plans are to get the cosmetics done then probably pull the motor and clean it up outside the boat. I'll post some pictures later. Jim you need to get over here and start buffing!! All the corvettes are on hold because of you.:convertib::boat:
