just ordered a set of four of these. alot of pro's they look to install easier and don't remove alot of material during installation. with a backing plate and nylock nuts would seem to be a stonger install over pop up cleats. no water drainage issue either

I ordered the 334-4 4 1/2" cleat with no visible screws

Those are a great looking idea...let us know how the quality is when you get them.

they're in a box on the shelf waiting for a winter project along with a rear mast light. they seem to be very well made and very sturdy.

I have to get the boat running first get her to a dock and see where to mount I'll keep you posted
