View Full Version : HELP: Bad gimbal bearing?

The gimbal bearing may be going or bad ON MY 16. I had the drive of and when I rotated the bearing with my fingers, it feels a little rough. I also just started Leaking a little oil into the bilge. I think they may be related.

Change! No other way, it doesn't cost much for the alphas and is quiet easy to do, but don't know the price and effort for volvo AQs

This is an omc, virtually identical to the vovlo/penta. I'll replace the bearing, but i'm affraid that the oil is a bad rear crank seal.

The input seal on the drive is another possibility, if the bellows is full of oil that is where to go!

If the seal is bad on the motor, the oil will be in the bilge.
