Can antone tell me what the over-all length of their 18' Donzi, on the trailer, including the extension of the outdrive? I'm looking for an 18' for sale, but want to make sure it will fit in my garage. My garage is 22'.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,
My 18 fit in my 21.5'x 21' attached garage with the drive over to one side and the trailer tounge kicked over on an angle.
I could still fit my Wife's minivan in too eek!
Thank God!

My niehbor puts it in blocks the trailer to get wieght off springs and tires then pulls the toungue off 21 foot garage.

My garage is 24' 6". With the drive cocked and the prop stuffed between the studs of the back wall, I clear the garage door by about 6" to 8". On my setup, the drive (Bravo) adds 3' to the back and the tongue adds 3' to the front. 18 + 3 + 3 = 24. THere is no way I could get my boat and trailer into a 22' garage. THat's not to say an 18 won't fit, just my setup wouldn't. BE sure to measure carefully. Lastly, if your close, you may be able to use a swing away tongue to get her to fit.

P.S. If your still thinking about that X-18, it's sold.

Thanks for the info. guys....Worst case it sounds like if I make the trailer tongue removeable...it will fit.

My 18 measured 24 feet on a Performance single axle trailer. I had to add 5' to a 20' poll barn. ironically my 22 on a duel axle Eagle Trailer is only about 18" longer. It really depends on the trailer design. A single axle will have a longer tongue than a tandem set up.

My 1997 18' on a Roadrunner Trailer with the outdrive down, touching the floor, measures exactly 23' from the tip of the ball hitch to the end of the outdrive.
