I have a 98 28zx with twin 350's, bravo 1 drives with latham hyd. external only. After reading previous posts I realize I might have air in the system. How do you bleed the air out???

start with making sure the p/s reservoir is at least half full..with the engine running slowly turn the wheel lock to lock until you get a hard lock..turn engine off then go to the drives and see if you can push the drives side to side..if you can then their is still air in the system..leave it sit for 1/2 hour and do the procedure over again...you may nor get all the air out of the system so you may have to repeat the process several times over..if you get some trapped air in the cylinders with the engine running crack the lines at the cylinders but do it fast cause it can get messy..

I could post the instructions for bleeding the Zeiger system which should be the same. Like fixx says, it involves loosening fittings while someone turns the wheel. Let me know if that would help you.
