Fishing on Lake George.

Can anyone tell me how good the fishing is on Lake George in New York,best spots
and what species of fish there are?

we were just up there and Bass season is open

also if you are up there look up a hunting fishing place called the outdoorsman he is a great resource for local knowledge and will have the right bait for you . he is up on the west side of the lake in diamond point about 4-5 miles by car up on rt 9n just before the town of bolton landing.
