01 28ft ZX twin eng steering issues:
Trying to bleed all of the air out of the Hydro steering lines
Was able to get some air out after bad hydro line was changed, but not all. Is there a trick or ?????
How about the steering wheel colum itself, is there a bleeder valve ?????
More play in wheel now than before

Any help would be appreciated ( e-mail if you have any suggestions )

Past post:
Has standard Donzi steering
Anyone had this issue & how did you correct it ??????
Should there be any play in the trims, I can move side to side very easy & has no wheel turn @ all
There is a little play in the wheel also & I do have a steering line that is leaking, will repair on Mon
But there is so much play, I wouldn't think that would be the problem ????

I don't know if you ever answered what "standard" steering you have.

There are 3 kinds of "standard" Donzi steering.

1) standard: internal Mercruiser steering. Cables from the helm to the engine area. All the steering is done from the inside.
2) optional: external half system. cables from the helm back, external rams mounted to the drives.
3) optional: external full system. hydraulic helm, external rams, no cables.
