Welcome to the board Dale!

The Donzi for Sale section only has a few rules, and one is you must post an asking price. Pictures are also very helpful.

If you have trouble posting pictures, you can email them to me, and I will post them here for you.

I will have pictures up by Sunday nite, I feel it's worth 15k, tomorrow is the first real test, down the Savannah river to Daufuskie Island.
And no to the org. motor qustion. I just got it 2 months ago with no power in it. All i got was the alumn exhaust system & drive. I guess it always had a 5.7 in it.
i just put a new motor in and cleaned the carpet and seats and she was ready to go. I did 3 short test runs up & down the river checking everything out last week. can't wait till tomorrow morn. mabe i'll go at 6am and wake up a few people.
if anyone has more info, the hull # is H27140, it came from Penn .ew people.

5.7 wasn't born until 1969... wasn't marinized for a couple years after that..

the 350 chevy came out in 67 very few donzi had small block GM outdrive offerings until 71 72 ish, as Jim said it might have taken some time to be marinized. the ford 351 5.8 came out in 69 and was being put into boats as a marinized engine from the get go by Holman Moody. the volvo 275 was not around in 67 would have been a 200 the 275 came around mid to late 70's

I would think as many of the early boats in 66 and 67 this one was re powered early in it's life as newer, bigger, more reliable power/drive combos came out.

pictures would be nice

pictures would be nice what I meant to say was that it wasn't completely marinized industrywide for a couple years... '67 intro into cars, specifically Camaro's, was correct though..

;) yes it took some time for chevies to be seen in the classics ,in the 70's as Holman Moody got out of marine then the SBC was the standard.

most likely a 67 would have been a 289 interceptor and a volvo 200 possibly even an eaton badged volvo 200 as the 302 and 351 came out in 68 and 69 respectively and the 250 volvo in 68 ish

this is probably a barrelback too ,

any pics might be a very cool boat
