This truck is clean as a whistle. Clean Carfax. I have been using it to tow my 16 and it does great. Probably 2-2.5k towing miles (NC to MI and back, then NC to KY and back for AOTH) previous owner said they didn't use it to tow. Reason for selling: I now have access to a 2500HD Duramax diesel + we have too many cars/trucks.

On Craigslist locally for $12,500. Forum members make reasonable offer, I promise this truck is clean! I have all books, two sets of keys (with electronic remotes). When we bought the truck several months ago I had a pre-purchase inspection done at a local Chevrolet dealer. I can fax the results to you, just send me a PM or give me a call. Aaron (336) 908 1053.

What is the tow rating on the Z85? Is the truck located in NC?

Shoot I didn't see your response in time! Truck sold yesterday.

Chevrolet rated the crew cab 4x4 right around 5,000 LB GVRW. I liked how it towed the 16 with the exception of it not being as wide. It made you stay on your toes on narrow roads but then again I haven't towed that much. I would imagine towing a 22 through the mountains would be slow.

My 22 on the trailer weighs more then 5k....its slow towing with a Z71 1500 thru the passes.

You didn't sell it with the Donzi license plate did you?

Of course I did! I have about 250 of them made I was going to list them on the forum for a minimal amount.

...in your 1500 do you have the 5.3L? We are looking for a full sized truck and I'd like something with a substantial amount of umphh for towing.

5.3 is a rev happy dog IMO.....Go with a 6.0 or a 6.2 if sticking with GM....

....or go DIESEL to really put a smile on your face :)
