Anyone in this area that has a sweet 16 that would entertain the idea of company for a quick ride? I'm very seriously in the market and would really like to get out with someone who can tell me a bit more about them. I've given up on finding locally, so before I go any great distance to get one I would love to hit the water! I've got a lead on one, but it is about a day's drive away...not a drive I want to do to find out it isn't what I remember it being!

When I was much younger I rode in a sweet 16 and remember it being super cool! Any takers!?

Thanks in advance!

No one :(

I really want to chat with a Donzi owner and get the scoop on their experiences, see their boat, etc.

Get a hold of Tim Morris or McDonzi (Dave McDonald), they are fron your neck of the woods.

I'll be your huckleberry. But not until the end of June.
I do the old man's pontoon thing until then.

I towed in a broken down buddy on Couchiching last weekend
with my pontoon. Turned out he is ast mgr for Casino Rama
Entertainment Center. I'm gonna be entertained for awhile.

Awesome - that's great!

You keep your baby out of the lake until June?

I spent most of my summers on Victoria Point just outside the Narrows on the Simcoe side. Where abouts are you?

Baby has become a trailer queen in the last few years. Before that I kept her on a lift -since new. It's not a 16' though. It's a 20' Minx. I'm gonna redo the starter and we'll be good to go.

I'm at the top of Couchiching on the west side.

Is that near Big Chief? Fittons Rd?

Fittons Rd is where the beer store is. I could never live that close or no work would get done. We ran out of gas at the foot of Fittons once, walked up to the Fina Station (across from where the beer store is now) with 5 gal cruise-a-day. I think we were in the first fiberglass boat Couchiching ever saw. Probably about 1960.

I'm up another 6 - 8 miles. The lake is 11 miles long.
