It amazes me how someone can actually carve and sculpture like this and not kill (girdle) the tree!!!!!...

Isn't that the "tree of life" at disney's animal kingdom???

oh and watch out for those red X trees I trimmed one of them and broke out in some kind a rash :p

Never been their! i googled it and yes its the tree of life..got a email that said south aferica:bonk: i guess im a fool for falling for that one but its a cool tree :)

actually it is in the south african part of the park, that was one of those stand in line cause the kids wanted to see it up close I believe there is a theater in the base of it and yes the carvings are very cool.

Knew it immediately.

It is fantastic to see, and yes there is a theater and shops in the base, under the tree. We watched sections of "Its a Bug's Life" in 3D in the theater.

It is much bigger than it looks in the pictures.
