I have the inner plate with steering ram etc...? Shipping would be a PITA but if you need it the price would be right....

If he doesn't want that Jeremy, I'd probably be interested. I'm currently collecting parts to go black on back

Of course. And if he wants it, maybe I'll transport it and ship it from here to save some $ and hassle

Keep the Alpha, I wish I had!!!!!! It cost me a bundle and it coat me about 2 MPH! You can get replacement Alpha's for around $1,100 with a 3 years warranty, that is some hard to beat!

If your talking about the SEI drives, thats what i have. After breaking the merc i went with SEI because that warranty is hard to beat for the price.I broke one after i got about three months out of it.They have honored the warranty and i am pleased with them, but i keep breaking drives.I figure since im gotta pull the motor, now would be a good time to switch.I don't know where you guys get your alpha's,that everyone loves so much.I talk to folks with 450hp big blocks in front of alpha with heavier boats than mine and say they never had a problem. My boat is bone stock as far as i know, and ive nothing but problems.

An Alpha drive will always be faster than a Bravo. Less water resistance.

Bravo lowers only.

If you baby the alpha it will last forever. If you don't... good luck.

James,
I talked to Daniel Derebery this afternoon about what you want. He would sell an almost new transom assembly with everything except the inner plate (not expensive) and a Bravo complete drive that has been resealed and tested for $3500 and could ship it to you for less than $300. If you are interested, call me at 903/786-6281 for the details and his number. Bill
