Just a heads up on tailpipes. Daniel Derebery pointed out to me that if you ever cut some tailpipes, you need to recrimp the ends so that the flow is restricted or you will likely get hot spots at the top where there is a lack of water in between the pipes. Most of you probably already knew this, but I wanted to bring it up. Bill

How do you recrimp the ends? do you have any pics?

When you look at the ends of tailpipes, you will see that the inner pipe has been bent outwards to the outer pipe for about 2/3 or more of the area between the pipes. When I used the word crimping, this is what I meant. Welding would accomplish the same constriction which forces the water to totally fill the void between the inner and outer pipes before exiting. You want to make sure most of the water flow is at the top of the pipe to keep the hose wetted well, gravity will keep the lower section of hose well wetted.
