I need a good used Mirage 25P. Have a Mirage 27P that limits rpm to about 4400 and I have a labbed 23p that runs up to 5200 rpm. Problem with the 23P is that I get lots of cavitation on acceleration, have to really ease it up to WOT to keep from "spinning". I think that a Mirage 25P would probably be "right on". :cool!:

I don't like that prop for the 22', even though that's what the newer ones have. I have a 25 Tempest plus, and I like the way the boat feels over miikes 23p MP or my old B1 22p.

I'll ship my 25p Tempest to you to try if you'd like.

That would be awesome, but what would you do for a prop in the meantime? Don't want anyone to be "propless"

The whole prop thing drives me a little crazy, way too many variables in the mix, so trying one is a good method of see how the variables come together. Mirage, Mirage Plus, etc., never really sure what the real differences are.

The 27P provides some awesome acceleration, but leaves me at about 65 mph top end, the 23P gets me over 70 but is a little bit of work to get it up there due to the cavitation. Of course the 23P is not a Mirage and has been worked on, but it was only $50 bucks.

Does your prop have a Flo-torque type hub? If not, the OMC hubbed prop will not fit the Bravo shaft without replacing the hub with Merc hub. :wrench:
