I bought this trim tab setup from a guy who upgraded to the Dana tabs last year. I was going to install them on my 27' Magnum project, but I just bought the Kiekhaufer tabs from Aaron for the Magnum instead. Everything should be here for the installation including the like new rocker switch. The tabs have a few minor surface scratches that should polish out, but look virtually new in every way. These are heavy duty tabs with the 1" bent ends and powder coated. The tabs are 12.5" at the hinge point and taper to 10" and are 16" long - twin rams per tab. How about $475 (includes shipping) delivered to anywhere in the continental US. You can contact me at Dgill25960@aol.com or call me at 903/786-6281. Bill

How would these work on a 22' Classic?

How would these work on a 22' Classic?

I would think they would be great, but maybe someone here can chime in to corroborate. I wouldn't want you to buy them if they are somehow not right. If anything, I would think they are overkill in that you could probably get by with some smaller ones. Bill

Anyone know if these would make any sort of improvement over my original tabs?

Shoot Bill.

Timing is everything. I recently bought some new Bennett tabs for my 16 project boat.

These would have looked MAC-Daddy wicked HUGE on the back, but the price is certainly more than fair.

Caribou - If you are having issues with the existing tabs on your boat, I would have to believe that these tabs, being 16" long, would give you additional control because they have both larger surface area, and the extra length would create potentially more leverage.

For the asking price, if you have issues, these are a great deal!

My tabs are fine, but I like the idea of bigger ones.
