Cant find what model of tranny i have(need help)

I have a 86 z-25 with a rusted beat up tranny and was wondering if anyone knew what model number 71c, 72c etc and what ratio it comes with stock to a 454 all original..

I don't know if Donzi ever used the B/W transmission. I had an 82 22C with a Merc transmission. The B/W is 7 inches longer. I had mine rebuilt with an extra clutch and it clearanced. The mech said it should be good to 650 hp, and he's been working on transmissions since Christ was a carpenter.:)
