Forgive me if I missed it somewhere.

What was wrong with the old engine, if anything?

Slow, tired, basicly a throw in when the supercharged BBC got repossesd. (Story to be told) Not me.

Compared to what I am working on, your "old" engine looks brand new!

The new engine should make for "spirited" performance!

Update:
Two piece coupler needed, two days soaking de-greasing agent to blast and clean the engine area, new seals on the drive, new bellows, re-seal all of the transom, (NOT ROT!) stringers good, had to remove plug drain and re-seal due to someone crushing it due to over tightning.

Re routing grounds to back of block. They were previously attached to motor mount. Bunch of smaller stuff that takes time.

Motor start outside boat sat/sun.

Ok, so man,,, have I learned some lessons here. I will save the rant and post some raw pics. What I mean is it runs and we are working out the kinks. Once I get that done then she gets buttoned up. Remember it floats and runs. I am so happy with that at the moment.
