I have been trying to get a replacement for the ignition module in my old 87' Donzi Z 25 with little luck. I have tried the usual places but they tel me thery are out of stock and they are no longer made. I would appreciate any leads, or alternative replacements. Thanks.:shocking:

Does it look like this one? then number on the module is a 2f18a v8-20r.. i need the number off your module

Unfortunately, the number on the module is faded, We pulled the one I gave from a mercruiser catalogue. Do you have any idea what engine the one you have came from.

i have 3 different ones,the last five digits is all you should be concerned about..V8 for v8 engine and the 20r is the timing advance built in to the module...

thease hardly go bad,i would suspect the distributor hall effect before one of thease modules going bad..

their simple to replace, pull the rotor and unbolt it and install the new hall effect...
