HAHA I just noticed that too...wierd

Question: why do people put the bimini tops on the boat for the pics. I think boats look stupid with them up, especially the go fast boats? I'm not just saying this about this boat, because I've seen them on donzi's and a bunch of others.
Does anyone actually like the look of a boat with the bimini top on?

HAHA of course....but I can't help but wonder why people put them up for pics on such sleek looking boats. I'm baffled

Because it increases the appeal of the boat to a wider cross section of potential buyers .... Like guys that have significant others ...duuuuh .

Now if you put a head in it too , it'll sell in no time ...

Just if anyone is interested in the info:

it was sold for 8k and is in hamburg/germany now... a friend of mine has bought it and we did the first testdrive yesterday together with michibeslers Shelby. It is indeed very clean and runs quiet good. Minor problems like not working speedo, unprecise shifting from reverse to neutral etc. but overall a good deal. I doubt the mentioned 73 mph...will post some pix later.

Did you see the strange exhaust layout in the engine room? What's that transversal pipe for?

Great pictures. I love the side-by-side shots.

He got that across the ocean pretty quickly!

I have seen U-19s achieve speeds in the low 70's, so I would think this one would do that with the duo-prop. I bet it is very stable!

Is your friend pleased with it, even though it is no match for the Mighty Blue 22?

Yes Bill, he is very pleased with it, although payment and shipping was not that easy, but worked out fine in the end with the help of another friend (living in US) who ended up in driving 3000 mls with picking it up!

Quiets down the exhaust note and improves low end and mid range performance, at least for sure it does with automobiles...

Oh' yeah, super great price for $8,000.00 but transporting it across the atlantic and import taxes must have been a price killer after all is said and done?

it added about 3200$ on the price with shipping/taxes, still a good price, euro/dollar was 1:1.5 at that time, now it's 1:1.2 :frown:

He should've waited for a better price! He gave it away!
